Nevada is most famous for Las Vegas - definitely a city of lights. Head out of this sin city and nature abounds. Just west of the city is Red Rock Canyon State Park. Drive northeast toward Zion and you can stop along the way at the Valley of Fire State Park. Both of these are scenic state parks well worth a hiker's time.
