The state of Washington has beautiful mountain scenery as well as a number of scenic waterfalls. I haven't fully explored Washington, so currently only have a few photos on this site. But as you can see, the Lewis River has some beautiful waterfalls. There is also an area known as Lava Canyon near Mt. St. Helens that is quite scenic.

The lava rocks that line this small, raging river in Lava Canyon was exposed when all of the top soil and plant life was swept away during the Mt. St. Helens eruption of 1980.
